Hammond. Incredibly, the air ambulance that saved his life
by airlifting him to hospital is paid for and maintained
by the charitable donations of the public. The grateful presenter and
his family asked for donations in lieu of flowers, etc. to be made
to the charity that keeps this chopper in the air for the good of everyone.
An amazing £194,000 was donated online alone. Please remember the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service when you have a few quid to spare...Cars365.biz is another domain from Shogun Media Ltd. It will be developed in 2008 to be the complete website for UK motorists. Unlike existing websites it will not be tied to a printed magazine or external motoring organization. Therefore, it will be truly independent in thought and action. There's much wrong with the lot of the average motorist in the UK today and we aim to give you a place to voice your concerns.
We'll take a look at car loans and car insurance. We'll also have a long look at the behaviour of the Blair government towards drivers and their belief that the driver is a cash cow for funding all their pet social projects but not the road infrastructure.
"The UK motorist is besieged by incompetence, neglect, over-pricing and over-taxation. They are screwed by the Police, the Insurance companies, the Car Manufacturers and particularly the Government. While taxes go up for the motorist, more of them suffer having their car stolen or vandalised without anyone apprehended for the crime. Do the police even try anymore?"
Meanwhile, the same police hound them for breaking ridiculously low speed limits instead of spending time pursuing the criminals. Try to park in our overcrowded roads and cowboys clamp their cars! Most speed cameras entrap motorists as a fiscal fund-raiser not a road safety measure. Suburban streets become slaloms that would challenge a downhill skier whilst speed bumps wreck your suspension and both combine to encourage road rage - but instead of beating the idiot council official responsible some other motorist cops it.
There's much more and it's an absolute disgrace and only the British will put up with it. We will make sure they don't have to anymore and we'll enable the motorist to put pressure on those responsible who currently feel they are protected from action by their uniform, their position, their power or even their anonymity. Watch out, the UK motorist is about to strike back!"
